Happy New Year! I hope it’s been refreshing for you so far. Here are some of my goals for this year. I’m not thinking very long term, but it’s still nice to start out with goals. 🙂
-Do well in my classes this semester. Keep up good study habits.
-Have a more balanced life. Don’t just do school, but spend time with Whit and Jesus each day, hang out with friends once every week or two, go to a small group, exercise, cook. I’m not sure how I’ll do it but I will have a little more time this semester (I’m taking one less class), and I want to make balance a priority.
-Travel: Try to make the Hawaii trip (that my uncle has been promising for years) happen
-Travel: Go to Georgia with Whit and Evan and Courtney
-Decide on a research project
-Keep a home that brings joy
-Health – Food: Stick with the 30 Days to Fit Arbonne Detox/Reset Program. I’ve done okay so far but it’s hard when we go out to eat with friends.
– Health – Exercise: Finish the Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Challenge. I’ve started a couple times already and haven’t been able to stick with it every day. I’ve done five days in a row so far, and it’s getting easier. Yay!
-Finish re-painting my desk. I painted it a lovely green at the end of the summer but it peeled majorly. I want to finish in the next couple of days before classes start.
-Love my husband more! Cultivate love for him by looking into his eyes, going on romantic dates, and spending time together at home.
What are your goals for 2016?
I’ve missed your posts Syndi! I know you’re so busy. I hope your holidays were wonderful! I think all of your goals sound very attainable 🙂 Good luck to you on all of them this year!
