Let’s face it: September is coming, and every month for the rest of the year is filled with seasonal feelings and holiday cheer. How better to relish this time of year than snuggling up with a blanket, a candle, and some popcorn and watching some classic movies?
These are my favorite movies to watch from September-December…
Marley & Me
Every season of life and of the year represented. Guaranteed to make you feel warm and cozy inside.
Pride & Prejudice
Once in college my Bible study got together to watch this over pancakes on a foggy morning, and I’ve been dreaming about it ever since.
The Holiday
THE classic romantic comedy, not to mention perfect holiday movie. Must watch with candles lit and twinkle lights.
Friends
Not a movie, but it never fails to make me feel warm inside. I love to watch the holiday episodes starting around Thanksgiving, too.
License to Wed
My girlfriends and I watched while baking Christmas cookies when it came out, and I will forever want to watch it over “Christmas break” again.
Harry Potter
Good for Halloween through Christmas. Wait for the snowy Hogwarts scenes.
Halloweentown
The only way to watch this Disney Channel special is with a bowl of vanilla ice cream mixed with chocolate syrup and oreos, stirred until mush.
What movies do you watch every fall?
